Survivor: Live! w/Anthony

by

Hello, Survivor Fans! At long last, I drug myself away from the Survivor Wiki, and sat down and enjoyed Survivor: Live with Anthony as the guest star and I have to say, he really is just a very nice guy. Unfortunately, nice guys are known to finish last. That saying, of course, bodes well for Rocky though, and I won’t be happy at ALL if Rocky isn’t gone within the next two weeks. Seriously. That boy needs a swift kick to the…

Anyway! Moving on! Here’s some highlights from Anthony’s stint on Survivor:Live!

Concerning Jeff Probst:
Anthony was a little surprised by his suggestion and pushing that he stand up, although says what we don’t realize is that Jeff is very much another player. It’s his job to kind of get people to lay it all out there, we don’t see how much he’s really involved.

Jeff’s comments about Anthony however seemed to surprise him a bit. “Now that the show is over, I can say how I enjoyed having him on the show, even though I certainly gave him a hard time on the show… I was impressed how he stood up for himself, and wasn’t afraid like I thought he might have been… I hope he had a good time.”

Surprise in a good way.

About Rocky:
It was, naturally, the biggest questions of the day. Everyone wanted to know how he felt after the whole Tribal Council throwdown.

He felt that the reason for keeping Rocky over him, was because he’s a good sacrificial lamb down the way. One of those “If it came down to it, who would you want to be sitting next too in the final vote” type of deals with the idea that anyone could win if Rocky were the other choice.

Anthony said he tried to let Rocky dig his own grave, and though he had to go first, he still things that happened. The worst thing to him was being pigeonholed, and there was even a moment when he thought like taking a swing at Rocky. Too bad he didn’t, I would have liked to see that! Maybe on Survivor live they’ll have him back when Rocky leaves. Soon. Heh.

And - in reply to the “little girl” comments - they did a lovely spit screen reminding us of Rocky’s moment in drag. Awesome.

Did Rocky teach him a lesson in life? ….no. Maybe in tolerance, but no. Choosing your battles. That’s Manhood. Manhood is choosing which fight, and which to walk away from.

What would Rocky be an ‘expert witness’ (reference to Anthony’s real job, an Expert Witness Locator) on? “Rock throwing, belittling people, I don’t know”

And! Anthony’s Minus 10!

And last but not least, Jenna’s Big Fan Question of the Week:
“Do you want to beat the crap out of Rocky at the Finale”
Anthony: The shows over, he’s no longer holding back, and will indeed give it to rocky with both barrels.

GO ANTHONY! As if I didn’t already have enough reasons to watch the Finale…

You can see the rest of Survivor: Live! at CBS including some talk about Lisi and the other castmates.
