I’m ruthless and have a smile on my face…

by Lessa

-:10 Setting up the post for tonight’s recap! Who are the girls going to get rid of tonight? Or is all the Women Rule This Island a bit of misdirection? Time will tell!

:02 Previously on Survivor….

:03 I come back from a surprise reboot to hear Amanda say that the ousting of Ozzy told her they were there to play the game - that’s fine by her, Game on! Commercial and roll credits.

:07 And we’re back - and I think this is posting, so it’s all good. it’s day 28 at the Dabu tribe, and Cirie tells us that James finger isn’t looking good - it looks infected, and you can’t assume that something is ok, what with their living conditions. Parvati says that she needs to do some serious damage control because Amanda and James are seriously pissed at her for voting Ozzy out.

James asks where she’s going with it - she’ll be alright, what is her plan and who is she taking with her. Parvati says straight up that she’s taking girls to final four. She says sorry, he says that’s not what she means “Ha ha is what you mean” Always got to eat the apple, can’t leave it alone, hopefully you make it. He says it is going to be awkward. She says you act like I’m stupid - he says that no, I said you were selfish. James tells us not to try and pull the wool over his eyes, it showed him who she really is, and he can’t stand people like that.

Parvati goes to Amanda next, and she apologizes and Amanda wants to know the plan. She tells us Parvati is running the show, and Cirie didn’t even tell her, so Parvati has her too. Amanda says she hopes they’re cool, and Cirie joins, and says that they trust her, but with Ozzie, they didn’t know. They say it’s them three to the end. Cirie says she loves her don’t look so sad. Amanda says that she’d like to trust them, but it’d be stupid of her to buy what they’re selling.

:12 Time for Reward - It’s the Survivor Auction! They each have $500 and bidding in $20 increments, no sharing of money or items. First item - Cirie buys it for $120 - she tried to get away with 100, Jeff counts it, and she pays the rest and gets hot dog and fries with all the extras.

Second Item goes for $80 to Erik - Jeff says before you give it up, you can keep it, or… trade for another item. He trades it, and finds out he gave up octopus for a huge tray of nachos! Good call Erik!

Next Item - sold to Natalie for $240 - Bat Soup. She won’t even touch it, James says he’ll eat it, and Jeff says ok, here you go. James grabs it and takes the skin off and takes a big ole bite.

Next item - uncovered - peanut butter sandwich - it goes for $280 to Amanda.

Next item is covered - $240 to Natalie - a bottle with a note. You must choose one person to go to exile island immediately and take all their money. Natalie asks if the idol was replanted. Jeff tells her new clues and a new idol has been hidden. She sends Jason to exile island, and he’s tripping, and Natalie says it could be good, so don’t trip. Jason heads off and Natalie gets his cash.

Next item - covered. $380 to Natalie. She gets a gigantic chocolate cake! This item has another layer to it - she gets a note and reads to the group. Share the cake with three tribe mades, 60 seconds to eat as much as you can. Natalie chooses Alexis, Cirie and Amanda, and tells them not to hog the cake, because she hasn’t had any food. Erik offers them 40 bucks each to lick their fingers - they’re shoving cake into their mouth as quick as possible. Happy ladies…

Cirie sells her fingers to Erik for $40 bucks, and he licks the cake off while James says “Something is wrong with that boy. Poor thing.” Too funny!

:18 Commercial!

:21 back at camp, as the girls say that Jason is the luckiest survivor, and Natalie says she might not have sent him but she figured no one else wanted to miss. Everyone wants Jason gone, and Natalie says that the little bitch is out there with the clues and two days to find it. Parvati says he’s been on the biggest lucky streak in Survivor history and it probably won’t even rain.

We see Jason on Exile and heads off to find the idol. He feels pretty confident he can find the idol easily. He says he’s been thrown a lot of curve balls, but he thinks he’s going to do better. He hopes Natalie sending him was a clue that he can work with her with the immunity island. He feels it’s in her best interest to keep him in the game. And yup - he finds the immunity idol! He says he feels pretty stupid about the fake idol, but the decision to send him was a strategic move and he feels part of a successful alliance and feels more comfortable now then he has in the entire game.

Back at Dabu - the girls are starting to think a couple steps ahead. They need to figure that he has the idol, and they can’t let him win the Immunity Challenge. They have to get into his head. They say he’ll believe Natalie. She tells us they want to make him feel extremely comfortable so that he doesn’t win the challenge. Worst case he plays the idol then it’s gone. Natalie will tell him that he owes her. They know they only have one chance. Natalie says Jason thinks that he will believe her and it will be awesome, because it’ll happen twice, back to back. “Hell hath no fury…”

:26 Commercial!

:29 Its day 30 at Dabu, and time for Treemail. If you haven’t learned from the past you might be next on the Jury. Erik says that it’s his birthday, and if Jason wins, it’ll be himself or James on the chopping block - he needs to do his best or he might be gone on his birthday and that would suck. Everyone offers him Happy Birthdays, and they all say they wish they had stuff to give him.

Natalie says if all goes to plan, he’ll feel comfortable enough not to play the idol, worst case scenario James goes tonight, as evil and cutthroat as women are, they do want Erik to have a good birthday so he’s not going home today. Awww. So sweet.

:32 It’s Immunity Challenge time!

Jason rejoins the tribe, and they get right to the challenge. All eight will race to throw rocks at tiles - it drops the box of puzzle pieces. First 4 move on and dig for keys and put the puzzle pieces together to get their planks. First two to get the planks move through the plan/rope/ to the platform and win immunity. Natalie tells Jason anyone but James can win, no questions, explanation at camp.

Survivor’s ready - go! Jason, Erik, James and Amanda hit their tiles first and move on to the next round.

First two to lower the plank and cross the line move on to the final. They all dig furiously loking for their key, James has his, Erik right behind him, they’re unwrapping and working on unlocking the puzzle pieces. Amanda can’t find her key, James is working on the puzzle quickly, Erik is right behind him - Cirie says “Go Erik!” James and Erik lowering their planks, James unclips and moves on, Erik unclips and Erik moves on with james to the final!

James and Erik for Immunity - they use the planks to make their way across the ropes - James falls off and goes back to the start, loses his plank and lost time. Erik works slow but steady as James starts again. Erik takes his time, slow and easy. James is having to make up time, taking risks and is gaining on Erik, James gets back in it, is very close and is too the platform and goes to make his way to the disks, James jumps and almost makes it - but Erik gets there first Erik wins IMMUNITY! Happy Birthday Erik!

:37 Commercial.

:41 At Camp, Erik hangs up his necklace and everyone says hey birthday boy, 1 outa 8! Yay! They all say they’re proud of him. The girls bounce and Parvati tells us part A of the plan is perfect. The girls compare reactions, Cirie jumped up when it came down to Erik and James in the end, all the girls were jumping up and down and screaming excitedly in their head when Erik pulled it out. Parvati says it’s like the black widow brigade - they’re spinning the men in circles until they don’t know which way is up, then devouring them one at a time.

Jason heads out to look for some crabs and water. Cirie asks where his stuff is at, and Natalie peeks to see if he found the idol - they discover it and tuck it back away once again. Natalie says she knew he had it. Cirie says he won’t play it tonight. Natalie says he’ll tell him everything later. Natalie tells us she hopes she got her point across to Jason in 30 seconds. It’d be perfect for him to go out just like Ozzy, she’d love it. She heads to confirm to Erik her ‘plan’ and he says thanks for keeping her word and keeping him in the last challenge.

Natalie tells him that James is going home tonight. Jason tells her he does have the HII, and found it easily. She says that was her plan all along. Jason tells us that he’s hoping she’s telling the truth, but she kept her word last time and will trust him this time. He says his word is as good as hers, which so far has been good. Natalie tells us she thinks she can b pretty evil, she’s in game mode and is now having a lot more fun because she gets to be herself, which is proving to be ruthless, stone cold bitch, and cutthroat - and she has a smile on her face. Sorry bout that.

Amanda and James talk, and she says she doesn’t know what to do. Amanda says they think they have it down between Jason or him. James says he’s putting down Parvati’s name down regardless. James says there’s no way he won’t play it. Amanda says she doesn’t think he will, James says that would be tragic, and Amanda says it will be awesome.

The girls are loving to blindside Jason, and Natalie says she’d like to floss her teeth with his jugular. Either way it’s a win win, Jason plays the idol and stays, or James goes, but the women remain in power, picking them off one by one.

:49 Tribal Council.

Eliza and Ozzy take their seats on the Jury, and Jeff says last time you vote out one of the biggest threats, but biggest provider. Do you need any providers anymore? And Parvati says that they provide for themselves. James says it doesn’t look good for him tonight, social butterflies have done their job. James says Parvati did what she has to do, and it’s frustrating because he knows he’s pretty much next. Erik, you’re a threat - must feel great to get immunity. He says he felt the same way as James, and if everyone can provide for themselves, that makes him a target. Erik says that his social standing has changed because he stepped down in the last challenge. Jeff says - you’re not sure because of Exile island. Jason says it was an opportunity to look for the idol, but he wanted to b with the tribe. Natlie says that yeah, it is possible to change your standing that quickly.

Erik keeps the necklace, everyone else is fair game, it’s time to vote! James votes for Parvati “Couldn’t just frolic naked in the heavens, you had to eat the damn apple.” (I love him.)

Jasonout.jpg:53 Time to tally the votes… If anyone has the idol, now is the time to play it… Jason does not play it. Cirie is already smiling… The votes: James, Jason, James, Parvati, James, Jason, Jason, Jason.

James smiles, Jason winces, the girls all grin, and Jeff douses his torch. Jeff says back to back blindsides - anyone who still feels safe is a fool. James is to have medical look at his finger on the way out!

:56 Commercial!

:58 Next time on Survivor: James has his finger looked at, says that he works with his hands, and it’s important to take a look at it. And for reward - it’s the family visit!
