Momma said there’d be days like this!

by

tocantinslogo:00 ..there’d be days like this, mah Mama said, mama said! It’s SURVIVOR NIGHT! Yay! Time to get our recap on… previously, on Survivor… 14 are left - who will be voted out tonight?

:01 Timbira, on Day five, after Tribal Council, as they rehash voting out Candace, and Sierra says that Candace didn’t see it coming, while Coach doesn’t say anything. Coach says that (Errin?) insulted their intellignece because she says that she didn’t want Candace to know what was up, and was hanging out with er only to see what she was up too. Coach says it’s insulting and she’s made her bed and will have to lie in it.

:03 Roll intro and Commercial!

:07 Day seven at Timbira, and it’s time to start a fire, and everyone is looking miserable and cold. Erinn says that it’s weird, she was assiciated with Candace now, and that she has to go in and out perform everyone - and she thinks she can out perform Sierra and Debbie and she’s fighgint for her life a little bit. They’re making breakfast of beans and rice and Jerry says that he’s gonna pass on breakfast because it’s screwing up his stomach. Jerry says he’s not feeling well, something he’s been eating is messing up his stomach, so he sticks to rice. But he says he wants to be looked up as the stronger one, so he’s gonna pretend he’s happy, but he’s miserable, but thinks in another day or so e’ll be good. “Mama said there’d be days like this..”

Stephen says that everyone imagined they’d be feasting on fish since they had gear, but it’s not exactly happening that way. The are having problems catching minnows, and can’t figure out a system on how to throw it. JT says that live bait is the way to go, they’ll get it under control. And they start catching fish, gonna feast tonight! Happy Jalapao. JOe says the fish tasted like victory. They’re a force to be recorned with.

Mr. Dimples! That must mean it’s Challenge time!

6 members will be blindfolded and tied into pairs, with number seven guiding them. They have to collect water, then corn, and raise their flags. They’re playing for a tarp, and umbrella, chairs, pillows a hammock, and the winner choses a member to go to exile, who chooses a member to join them.

Joe is the caller for Jalapow, Debra for Timbera, and they’re off - JT fionds a bucket first, followed y Sierra, They can’t hear Debra well, Jalapao has water, and Brenden and Jerry don’t bother listening and keep going while Jalapao takes the lead, and brenden and jerry finally find their bucket, Timbira fallig wy behind. Jalapao has 3 buckets of water, while timbira has hardly any water, and Tyson has a long trail of people, but they’re in slow motion - then finall starts pouring their water - as Jalapao gets their first flag! Time to look for corn!

Timbira is close on wter but needs one more. JT finds the corn, and get a face full of the as the Jalapao, starts filling the corn and Jeff says Timbira is “really blowing this challenge! Jalapao has excellent teamwork, and Jalapao WINS REWARD!

Coach be maaaaaad.

rc

Jalapao sends brenden once again, and so he grabs Taz once more, and they go back again. Jeff asks if it concerns Specer, and he says not really, They’ll be back in time for Immunity challange, and they had off as Jalapao grabs all their cool stuff, and Timbira stomps out and tells us that they have to turn it around. Winners find a way to win, losers find a way to lose, they gotta get it together.

:19 Commercial!

:22 AUGH! Snake! Coach tells us that his primal yell was only a 1/4 of what he felt, and they’re asking about it, and he tells us he was completely embarassed, and Debra says that she feels like she let them down and Coach ask them not to go off in groups and say othr peoples crewed up. Coach then does exaqctly that with Tyson, and he wants Errin gone, and Tyson tells us that he’s a Coach, he’s not exactly good at it, but he likes to have his voice be heard as Coach says that Tyson is his assistant coach, and Tyson tells us “more power too me, you know? but he’s got a school boy crush on me, he loves me,” so if he keeps working on it, he might get promoted and if he skips tribes, he’ll demand they call him coach.

Happy Jalapao! as they point out Coach is pissed, and they feel they put it to Timbira pretty good, and they start getting the tarp up, and making the shelter better. JT is happy hat they’re staying dry now.

At Timbira, Coach says that Jalapoa was dirtier then them, so he doesn’t care about comfort, he just cares about winning the game.

At Exile, Brendan and Taj choose their urns, and Taj gets the clue this time, and they get the second clue to the hidden immunity idol, and Taj and they both plan to look immediately when they get back to the tribe. They hope they’ll be sent to exile again, but if not they’ll need to pick someone. So Brenden says Sierra, he can trust her, and Taj says Steve - and they will have a 4 way alliance that no one knows about coming into the merge, and they won’t even know what’s coming.

:28 Commercial!

:31 Jalapao, day nine, and life is fine. They are waking up and said that it’s the first time they didn’t get cold at all. Everyone’s waking up happy – it was cold, raining and miserable, but they had the best sleep yet according to Stephen, added to the knowledge that Timbira had a miserable night. JT’s hoping to put them down.

:32 Challenge time! Brenden and Taj are back, and Immunity is back up for grabs, and there’s alittle trash talk. 2 members will race to roll a large crate to the mat – gather all 3, stack into a stair case, climb the tower, get immunity. Simple enough!

JP and Taj are up first, as is Brenden and Debra – Survivors ready, GO! JP and Taz get it back first, as he next couples take off, and Tyson and Siera make up a lot of time, hen Errin and Coach on are the field as Jalapoa heads out again – erin and coach are back – both tribes have three crates left, as Jerry gets hit in a cross over! He’s hurtin, but the next pairs are out on the course again, and Timira has their 5th block, with a big lead as Taj and Stephen still fight to get theirs back, and Timira start working on their stair case – has to be built as a stair case that spells out their tribe name! Errin is leading the tribe, giving timbira a big lead, and Jalapao is working together too, Timira slows down, as Jalapao keeps working slow and steady – even a they squish Taj – if Jalapao is right, they get it, It’s gonna belcose – each has one block left! Sandy is getting crushed! They have to get it up – JALAPAO HAS IT! JALAPAO WINS IMMUNITY!

ic

Jerry is saying his finished, he’s throught, he’s finished. And Jeff says Jalapoa, you have the night off, go to camp – Timbira, momentum has shifted, another loss, another trip to TC, another member going hom. Jerry says that he couldn’t give it his all, he’s weak, but he’s pretty sure that people are looking at him as the weakest link.

:38 Commercial.

:42 Back at Timbira, Jerry is looking pretty bad, and they’re worried about him. He says e felt pretty good doing the first block, but then his energy was just sapped. He’s not a quitter though, that’s for sure.

The rest of them gather in the water, and talk about what’s going on, and Erinn points out Jerry is sick, and Coach says the worst thing was her look that she gave, and how she realized that “she was still staying” and that it was evil, and he tells Tyson that he can’t stand her. Coach says that he goes to Tyson first as hes his right hand man, and he’s still going with Erinn, and e’ll have to talk to Debbie and Sierra. And he goes to work, and how it makes him sick, he can’t exist around people like that, that smile evilly, when someone else is on their knees, he can’t walk by her. Sierra says that Coach is pissed, but she doesn’t want to sever off another limb – they were gonna vote her out when they saw her s week, she won’t be stupid.

Tyson talks to Jerry, tells him to stay strong, and get out there. Tyson says no one’s said they’d vote him out, to be as strong as he can. Brenden heads off to look for he idol, And he finds it right around the Tree Mail and he’s happy – good good good news. He find a place to hide it, and good things happen.

Dinner time, and they ask Jerry if he wants some beans, and e says no, and Erinn wants to look make it look like she’s not throwing someone under the buss, but she wants to be here, so See ya Jerry. Jerry says he’s doing better, feeling better. A good cheeseburger and he’d be back on top. Erinn isn’t amused. Tyson says that anytime there’s a blindside it’s pretty awesome, and he thinks that Erinn wants to be there so bad, blindsided would be cool. “I love seeing people cry when you crush their dreams.”

:49 Tribal Council Time!

tc

Tyson – talk about momentum, how important is it? Tyson says it’s important, they got a little arrogant, it doesn’t take much to get it back, just a win, they can get it together. Jeff says he noticed Erinn took control she had a plan and then it was over, and she sys she was frustrated when she knew it all along, but it fell apart. Brenden says he thinks they communicate well but Jerry is shaking his head back and forth, and he points out they needed a leader, and when asked who it should be, he says Brenden. Does Coach agree? Coach says he’d have to take the reigns, and on the truck was because he told everyone with his eyes to get what they needed to get, and he absolutely should be the leader. Erinn says that Coach is used to t, but Brenden does it better, and Coach says that it’s a personality clash, and Erinn says she didn’t know they had one. She agrees that he’s Passive aggressive, and Jeff says it sounds like he’s got an ego problem, and Coach says no, he’s fine being assistant coach, but he was just explaining. Jerry said that they need to get rid of the weakest person and make things better.

And with that, it’s time to vote!

jerryout:53 Time to Talley the votes – no one plays the Hidden Immunity Idol. And the votes are:
Jerry, Jerry, Erinn, Jerry, Jerry – that’s four that’s enough.

So much for the blindside! Coach and Brenden look pissed, Jerry waves as he walks down the path, and Jeff says it was all about making the tribe stronger, time will tell, and Coach just shakes his head and chuckles.

:55 Next time on Survivor… Sydney turns on the charm, and Timbira loses their heads, while Taj keeps hers in the game…
