“One of those Coach Moments”
-:10 It’s Survivor Recapping time! Since my server seems to be down, I’ll post this asap. (Of course, if you’re seeing it, then it’s clear the issue has cleared up. Ha!) After two weeks off, it’s great to be back with a brand spankin new episode! Ready? let’s get our Recap on….
:00 Here we go kids - Previously on survivor… 11 are left, who will be voted out tonight?
:01 Jalapao, day 15, right after the Tribal Council, JT is talking about the merge, and they can’t lose again, as it’d be another tough loss for them. Sydney is nervous, but Joe tells her not to worry, she’ll make it to the merge. JT and Steve are protective, and JOe tells her se has a free pass.
:02 Roll Title Sequence!
:06 Timbira, Day 16, and beans are done, through they made it with river ater and there’s a bit of a fight over what to do about it, and Coach, of course gets his way, and then the beans burn to the bottom of the pot, and Sierra is upset about it. Coach complains and says that he doesn’t give a rip abot it, tells us that it was a ombination of wanting them to cook longer and it raining, and he tells them that he’ll take the blame. Coach says it’s meaningless, and stupid. Brenden says he does irritating things, but e accepts it because that makes him predictible, which is good in this game.
Back at Jalapao, they’re eating beans as well, and JT says it’s getting weird up in there. He’s been honest with everyone and hopes to stay that way, he hopes everyone is honest with him too. Taz wants to tell JT that she has the idol, and she and Steven chat about it a it. Steve is worried that it makes him wary, and Steve tells us he’s controlling the info between them, he doesn’t want to be out of the loop. Ta says that the 4 person alliance is still in play, but she wants JT to trust her so that they can get to the merge. Steve isn’t sure though.
:11 Reward Challenge! Hi Mr. Dimples!
Today, each tribe will have 5 minutes to build a barricade in the other tribe’s cage, then they’ll toss pigs through their own - most pigs at the end of 10 minutes wins a bbq at a waterfall, and someone will miss the reward and be on exile. Erinn sits out.
First stage - each tribe has 5 minutes to build the baracade - the idea is to make it impossible for the other tribe to get through. 4 minutes left - make them count! All done - now they have 10 minutes to toss the pigs through the baracade. One pig at a time - if it drops or breaks it doesn’t count. Lot of them are breaking - big learning curve here. Timbiri gets the first point - now two, then three - 5-2! Timbira is on a roll with a rythem but Jalapao is starting to catch up! 7-5… 8 for Timbira, Tyson starts breaking them and Timbira falls apart - now we’re tied nd Jalapao is back in it!
9-9 with three minutes left, then Jalapao takes the lead, 10-9 - Tyson is throwing them too hard, and Jalapao is staying in the lead, then Timbira ties with one minute left and Timbira in the lead 13-12, then tied 12-12 with 30 seconds, make it count! Time is running out, and they’re still tied, it’s down to the wire, 10 seconds… with seconds to go TIMBIRA WINS REWARD!

Timbira sends Joe which makes Taz happy because they have their alliance in place. Joe decides to bring Erinn, and tells us his charm game is part of his strategy, and he hopes he’ll get in good with her so she’ll flip at the merge. Timbira heads off to their reward, while Jalapao heads back to camp. JT says the Reward is just a reward, but they cant blow it when it comes to the Immunity Challenge.
:19 Commercial!
:22 Wow - when they said Waterfall, they weren’t kidding. Everyone is excited about the food and start building their burgers. Tyson says that he’s gonna eat enough to puke, then he’ll have more room. Manners were out the window, Debbie says they were like animals, and everyone is trilled They have floaties and stuff, and Coach says he feels kinda bad that Erinn is missing it, except that she should be lucky to be in the game at all, so it’s ok.
:24 Exile island, and Erinn and Joe get their urns, and Erinn get the one with the clue. She says it’s very apparent that the idol is back at camp, and there’s more hen one, so she has to decide if she’ll trust Joe. If they had 2 idols it could be good for them. They discuss favorites, and Joe asks if she’ll need help with those clues. Joe tells us he hopes he can get it out of her - and he tells him that they’re at camp. She tells us he’s hoping he’ll be trustworthy. They’re hoping they both get the idol and create an alliance.
Gee, where have we heard this before?
Steve and Taj talk about putting something into the treemail, a fake idol since they have all the clues, so she decides to make the best looking fake idol and hopefully hrow Joe off. She uses things they’ve gathered, feathers and beads and whips up a fake, and places it in place, then goes back to hide the real idol.
She hides it - then JT goes to grab an empty bag and finds the idol where she’d hidden it! He grabs Steven and says hat he found it. He tells us what the HECK do I say - and he told her that he knows, but it wasn’t shocking. He tells JT that she just found it, so he pulls JT in. JT says the game has changed. He then tells Taj to tell him that she has it so the three of them are on the same page. She does so, and shows it to him. She says that she doesn’t want him and Steven to go out early, and JT tells us that it’s huge, anytime he needs it she’d give it to him, and hopefully she’d keep that promise. They put it back in Steven’s dress pants. JT feels secure because he feels they’ve been honest with him. He just hopes he ain’t wrong.
:30 Commercial!
:33 Immunity Challenge Time!
For today’s challenge, Each tribe will use a sling shot to break a tile to release sand to reveal another tile. and give puzzle pieces. Get all tiles, solve the puzzle, and win Imunity. Debbie sits out the challenge, and JT is the first shooter, along with Tyson. It’s up to them when they wanna switch shooters. Tyson connects first, dead center, and gets the first back for timbira! He continues to shoot, as JT connects for Jalapao and gets the first back, and he keeps shooting. Tyson fractures the second tile, but it takes two more before it comes down as JT connects and gets his bag first, putting Jalapao in the lead. Tyson is right behind him. JT hasn’t got the tile fully revealed, as he sand pours too slowly - and they’re neck and neck when Tyson connects for the third back for Timbira! JT says he has it, and Tyson says he’ll help…
Timbira is working on the puzzle and JT finallay onnects and gets them the third back - everyone’s working on the puzzle, Jalapao racing to catch up. The puzzle is hard, and there’s plenty of time to catch up. Jalapao is picking it up, but Timbira is moving fast, they’re neck and neck… Timbira thinks they have it - And they do! Timbira wins Immunity!!
JT says “My bad, guys” and they tell him not to beat them up. Coach says this win was pivotal and shifts the control of the game. Sydney saysthat she’s been told she’s safer then Taj, but she knows no one is safer at this point and it sucks.
:40 Commercial!
:43 We’re back - it’s day 18 and Jalapao is talking, and they ask Joe if he’s ok. His leg is infected, he says he’s ok, but it’s red all the way down. He tells everyone that he didn’t get the right urn, and that Erinn wouldn’t give him any info. He heads off to water, and Taj laughs because he’s running for he tree mail, and he grabbed he idol in 10 seconds. He says he’s stoked, it was relief, he has extra time. Joe asks everyone if they’re voting out Taj, Joe made sure they were on the same page, and Sydney says that she thinks Taj kows something is up. Taj tells us that she doesn’t think he has anything to worry about, she’s pretty confident.
JT and Steven talk, and they know that they need to keep Taj, because he needs the immunity idol. They’re not sure what to tell Joe. But they talk to him and how they need o go to the merge with inroads over here. Steve and JT think Taj has some in with them, and it might be better to keep her, and Steve tells us hat he doesn’t know, and tells the guys that he can’t get on board with that, he has to honor his agreement with Sydney. e says he might hand over the idol to sydney to make a point.

Joe and Steve talk about it - Taj would use the idol, or if they get rid of her the idol is gone too. But Steve has the idol in HIS pocket, it’s his idol. So if they get rid of Taj tonight, it guarentees that the two of them have the idol. They’re not sure what to do. JT thinks it might be best to do it now, but he won’t decide until he gets there. “Which is terrible, I’m goin to hell.” He’s so cute!
:49 Tribal Council time!
JT says it ain’t sittin good for Jalapoa right now, and if there’s a merge they’re 2 people down. They’re intimidated about what might happen. Joe says that tonights vote will be made on possible merge - he says it’s based on trust, he wants someone that ill share information with them. Does Taj think being on exile so often will work against her? Taj says that she’ll be able to create relationships with other people after a merge and that makes her valuable. Jeff says the flip side is that she’s made relationships, he hasn’t and JT agrees, that she could flip. What will Sydney bring to a merge? She says she brings Loyalty, she’s the flip side to Taj. She says she’s loyal. Timbira has options, Jalapao doesn’t stick together, they’re in trouble. Joe says yeah, dead seat he knows what he’s doing. JT - any questions, he says all afternoon, yes. He blew the challenge and has to make he decision, it’s terrible.
It’s time to vote.
If anyone has the HII - it’s time to play it… no one does. The Votes: Sydney, Taj, Taj, Sydney, And the 6th person voted out… Sydney.

Joe isn’t happy, but Sydney leaves with a smile, and Steve pats Taj’s shoulder. Jeff says that if they do, indeed, merge 2 members down, there’s a lot of work cut out for them. Head back to camp.
:54 Commercial!
:56 Next time, on Survivor… It’s the merge! If the old Timbira stays together.. JT says they’re sitting ducks.
