Survivor Episode 3 - Recap! pt. 1

Thanks, as always, to ATI for the East Coast feed! Previously on Survivor….

We rejoin our Survivors on night 6, at Fei Long, where you can hear Jean-Robert snoring, and he rolls over and snuggles and curls up around the women. Leslie is grossed out and offended, of course. She also says he just doesn’t ‘get’ the social game. Of course, this is the one who thinks she can’t spend time with God without her bible…

The tribe tells him to stop, and the Courtney tells us that she gets the ‘creep vibe’ from him, as does Amanda. He says he needs to be warm and needs Courtney and Amanda to do so. Courtney: “I’m going to keep him warm? I weigh like 7 pounds! I can’t even keep myself warm!” Hahaha! Maybe she IS growing on me…

Back at Fei Long the next day, Jen Robert is in the water, and James finds a single crab in the net. It’s little, and they’re trying to decide what to do with it. There’s a huge debate over what they’re going to do with it, and it’s such a TINY CRAB… how funny. Leslie says the guys are cranky, it’s like her husband times infinity.

James actually SPEAKS! “I want the damn crap stock to put on the rice!” James says they have a small learning curve, and he keeps bumping heads with them. He’s the only one who read a survivor handbook, he doesn’t do nuthin outside! He feels like “Crockodile Dundee out here!”

At Zhun Hu, Dave is still working on his fire pit, and Peih-Gee tells him to stop and conserve his energy. She tells us that he just doesn’t get it. She’s nagging and Dave blows her a kiss, and he says he’s checking himself constantly, so please. He of course complains to us, and tells us that it’s a balance, and they have to sort out camp. It’s not rocket science!

They’re complaining about the way the fire is, and Dave tries to explain, and he jumps up with “just DO it..” and they’re like, Dave’s pushing a whole lot of people. Frosti tells us he should be happy to be here, and stop pushing! Pieh-Gee says she has faith in her tribe and they have to look out for each other.

Reward Challenge!
Another physical confrontation - 3 on 3, staring on opposite sides of the boat. Hand to hand battle, the goal is to throw the other tribe in the water. Alternate women vs. women, Men vs. men. first to 3 points wins, and they’re playing for rope, lanterns, tarps, pillows and blankets. Fei Long sits out the little “munchkins” Courtney and Todd

Sherea, PG, Jamie vs. Amanda, Leslie and Denise. They’re slow to start, Sherea looking for a fight, and Denise makes a move, but hits the water. Sherea and Jamie toss Amanda, and then Leslie! Zhun Hu scores first!

The men - Dave gets Naked ala Richard Hatch, which will be an advantage or make him vulnerable… Frosti Eric and Dave vs. Jean Robert, James and Aaron.

James is all “come and get me.. Jeff says “Dave is like a cat -this is odd.”

Dave attacks Eric and tosses him. James is the last man standing! (Was there ANY doubt? Please. He SNEEZES and people fly off… what a joy to watch. RAWR!) We’re tied 1-1.

Women again. Leslie vs. Sherea. Peih-Gee goes for Amanda - Leslie is in, Jamie and Sherea have Amanda, who takes Sherea in with her, Peih-Gee and Jamie throw in Denise, and Zhan Hu leads 2-1!

Men on men… Eric and Aaron eye each other and Dave taunts James (Duh) and it’s a dogpile and James and Aaron work on Erick who’s wrapped himself around a post and again JAMES is the last man standing! Fei Long wins - score is 2-2!

It’s down to the women! Everyone is locked up and it’s all or nothing for reward. Sherea pushes Amanda in, she loses her lower body next to send Leslie into the water, and Denise is the last woman standing, as they work her and roll her off and ZHAN HU WINS THEIR FIRST CHALLENGE!

(Part Two!)
