Survivor: Live! Highlights.
Survivor Live special guest, Stephanie from the ill-fated Ulong Tribe of Palau! Dang but she cleans up nice. Heh.
Rita says the same thing that EVERY OTHER OUTCAST ever says. Her being voted off was a SHOCK! I’m shocked she feels that way! (not!) She feels it came out of left field that she, being known as the ‘listener’ of the tribe, comes out as an annoying talker by Mr. Diarrhea, mouth himself, Rocky. A victim of editing, once again. Those poor editors are getting a bad rap! She admits she feels that she was kicked out because she’s female, which is probably closer to the truth. They just used the talking as an excuse. She felt she didn’t perform any worse then anyone else. She felt she was bringing mental and emotional strength.
On her vote on Earl: She felt she needed to give her brain a break, and was tired of doing what the guys wanted to do. She spoke with Earl after, and he was upset because he never wanted to see his name written down. Ha! Best get used it.
On alliances: Rita had alliances on Moto, actually, and was upset to be placed on Ravu, but had to hide it right away, because Boo had been caught out about not feeling hot about losing. The main was alliance Rocky, Boo, Michelle and Rita, with a sideline acceptance of Anthony. Within three minutes of landing people started talking alliances, which strikes me as funny because, hello? How could you possibly know whom you really wanted to be with? But perhaps it’s smart enough to just make sure you had someone, somewhere.
Rita fun fact: Contestant on Miss Venezuela and was a runway model. And Nick (Project Runway) is her brother. Who knew? I didn’t know! (Yeah, likely it’s been said 18gazillion times and I missed it. Harumph!)
Rita felt they were the real survivors, vs. the Moto Palace players. And most (Me included) would agree, because there is just no real way for them to come out from under that.
Jeff Probst Thoughts on Rita: He admires her healthy self-esteem and nurturing, for all the poking fun he did at her. He was surprised at her nurturing nature from day one, and felt it worked on both levels and he appreciated it.
Ravu wasn’t looking for sympathy, and wanted to try to show their strength despite their hardships. But even so, Jeff pointed out how worried they were for the tribe. During the Sumo challenge, he even stopped the challenge to check on Rita who cracked the cartilage in her nose. That explains why Jeff called the second one a grudge match!
Mookie was indeed the dominant decision maker on Ravu, until Rocky last night, where he stood back to let someone else take control to help take focus off himself. Though it wasn’t shown, Rita said she did try to flip the votes before Tribal Council; it just didn’t work - too little too late.
Less then 10 words game highlights:
Lips Gloss: Wear it, good to go.
Sumo push: Painful!
Haves vs. have nots: unfair
Project Runway: 2nd best show
Rocky: Volatile, unfair, not rational
Slip and Slide: Crowning moment on Survivor
Apparently Sylvia told Rita that the Immunity Idol was at camp, and she did try and find it, digging under the beds under the ruse of making the beds more comfortable. And Mookie knows too! Interesting…
YAY! Everyone thinks Lisi and Michelle are idiots. It’s hard to watch them be so stupid, and so RUDE. And general agreement is that Moto simply doesn’t know how to play the game yet, because they haven’t had to!
All in all, it was a good Survivor: Live.
