tocantinslogo-:25 Has it been a week already?! Where did my days go? Oh well, it’s SURVIVOR Time! And that always makes for a happy Lessa! Meetcha right back here in about 25 minutes for the as it happens recap of episode two!

:00 Previously on Survivor (Aaaaaah the best words EVAH!)… 15 are left, who will be voted out tonight?

:01 It’s Jalapao, on night three, as they try to start a fire, and people say they feel bad, while Sandy is happy to still be in the game. They get their fire started, and Sandy says she feels she’s underestimated and as long as she’s here she can win it. Hello Captain Obvious. Spencer says that Sandy will just be out next.

:04 Roll intro! and Commercial…

:06 We’re back, and it’s Jalapao on Day 4, where the fire crackles merrily, and they’re finding some vegies, but the boys want protien and Joe says it’s time to eat some termites. Spenser says that he’s never been in a situation where he’s had to find his food, as a teenager. He’s wants something to eat you have to go out and find it. The boys are ll yummy, and Sydney wouldn’t try the worm. She says she’d eat one at a challenge if she had too but not willingly. Ha!

At Timbira, day 4, they’re trying to start a fire, and are having problems doing so. Sierra says that her tribe procedes her as the weakest link, and she hasn’t ad a chance to find the Hidden Immunity Idol and she needs someone to help her find it, so she approaches Brenden, since he didn’t vote for her. He says that she needs help, and it’s important to look for it, it can’t hurt. She finds the stick. Wonder if she can figure out what a pace is? Brenden starts digging, as someone goes to check on them to see if their still alive - They cover the big hole by saying they were building a massive fire pit and Brenden says that was early smart, and Debbie bought it - and even told the rest of the tribe, and they were all excited, while Candace said that she wouldn’t go, she’d rather sit at camp - as everyone rolls their eyes

Sierra says that she’s worried, but doesn’t know if it’s worth trying to continue to find it - she knows what her position with the tribe is, but they were so close to being caught…

:12 Commercial.

:15 We’re back, at Timbira on day five, where Coach says says he’s starving, and they’re talking food, steaming sea bass, and they start arguing about cooking rice and beans in the same pot, and there’s a bit of bitchin’ between Coach and Candice - He’s opinionated because he’s a coach and it’s his job, Candice is just that way, he says. Candace says in real life she would have broke him own to his psyche and how he overcompensates, but here, she walked away, knowing he’d feel insecure and have to apologize. Surprisingly, he does and she tells us his ego is bigger then brazil. Ha!

Taz tells her tribe that her husband is a football analyst, and they put it together that she’s married to Eddie George, and the guys are thrilled! Spencer is just little starstruck, and Stephen says that he as no idea who Eddie George is and he feels like an idiot while everyone is freaking out. JT tells us that she has a lot more money then he does and he needs it more.

:19 Challenge time! Hello Mr. Dimples! It starts to rain, and Immunity is back up for grabs - 3 members will race through the water to grab a ball, work together till can shoot he ball, while the other Tribe is defending. 3 baskets, and you win Immunity and fishing gear! And the winning tribe will send someone to Exile and there’s a twist which will be read afterwards. Debra sits out for Timbira, and it’s awn like donkey kong.

Taz, Stephen and Steven tke on Sierra, Candace and Tyson, survivors ready GO! Tyson takes down Stephen, and Timbira has it, and Siera and Taz are fighting, Candace intercepts and Timbira Scores!

Round Two! Branden and Jo go at it, and Brenden comes up with it, Tyson has it, JT takes him down, Tyson gets it to Brenden, as Joe tries to take him down hile Sandy disrobes Siera Timira scores again - leads 2 zip!

It’s all the women for round three - playing to three, it could be won right here! Sierra has it andnow it’s a female pileup as Siera holds on to the ball! Taz has it, it’s her against Candace and Taz throws her off but MISSSES and Candices has it, then SYDNEY SCORES! Keeping Jalapao alive!

Round 4 - it’s boys against boys!Brendens is carrying Joe - can JT score? JALAPAO scores! It’s tied 2-2! Next round - playing to three, winner of this point wins reward and immunity!

Survivors ready- GO! Sydney has it for Jalapao, then Taz comes up with it, as Sydney takes it, and Taz gets it back as she’s tackled by Candace, Sierra shoots - but misses! Sydney shoots and misses, a shot, and he SCORES! JALAPAO WINS IMMUNITY!

ep2

They decide to send Brendan to exile island - and here’s the twist - to Brenden, choose a member of the winning tribe to join him at exile! He takes Taz. Could be interesting. They get their map, and they will return in time for Tribal Council. Jalapao grabs their reward and heads back to camp and Timbira will be headed to camp, and Tribal Council Tomorrow night. Tyson says Sierra should be the one to go, she’s number one on the chopping block.

:31 Celebration time for Spencer and Jalapao, and they’re looking forward to getting some fish. Sandy is thrilled because she knows she’d been going home and she’s now in the game for several days. JT seems to be emerging as the tribe leader, and Stephen is surprised by it, but he’s so glad because he’s the angsty city boy, and he’s smitten. Awww! JT says Stephen is definitely a city boy, but they have a good friendship. Stephen says that they saw fish, not so much catching - but it cemented their friendship and it makes him he goofy awkward right hand man that JT might wanna keep longer.

Day 5, Exile island. They werne’t kidding, it’s a HUGE sand dune. They get a little bit of rice and some water, and Brenden says it’ll be a good opportunity to get some other tribe info. They find a stand with 2 urns, and they both had to choose one. Taz’s is empty, and Brenden has to open his in private - he has another clue to the Immunity Idol and doesn’t have to share it if he doesn’t want too. It says the idol is in the Tribal Homelands - he also has a choice - he can stay with his tribe, or switch tribes! He says no chance.Taz wants to see it, and he won’t show it to her. Taz says she’ll help him find it, and she tells us she’s trying to be real nice, because she knows her tribe found out who her husband is. Brenden lets her read the clue, and she’s like “Tribal homelands is where we live!”

Taz says she hasn’t bonded and wants to bond with Brenden, and they won’t tell anyone that the HII is at the home camps, and they bonded together and think it might help later in the merge. The goal is to get sent again together to Exile.

Back at Timbira, they’re talking about the challenge, and Candace says she hates to lose. They were all disappointed with Coach, while shocked at the “little old lady” on the other tribe. Candace says that Coach isn’t excelling physically as she thought he would, and he’s all talk. Ah, but hey let him know she’s trash talking her. Coach says that worries him, and they thought they agreed earlier it was Sierra, and Coach says that the Poison Apple Needs To Go - and tells us everyone is fed up with her negative attitude, sometimes it’s addition by subtraction.

:39 Commercial!

exiletc

:43 Brenden comes back to camp to fill everyone in on Exile, and says that the two urns - he tells them that he got the empty one and tells us he’ll be patient and hope the clues keep falling into his lap. Candace still works to get Coach out, but to chill and let him dig his own hole. Back at the camp, they ak him what he thinks, and he says to stick to the plan, which is Sierra, which they clarify. Coach tells us hat the obvious choice is Candace though, and he says she’s outa here. Ok…

So they start to split off and think, and Sierra played hard but Tyson says he’s trying her hardest but she’s too small and Candace is better suited. Coach goes and talks to Sierra and says that he won’t vote for her, and he’s going to vote for Candace. Sierra says that she’s still freakin out a little bit. She’s not omfortable at all and hasn’t found the HII, and she’s watching her back.

Candace talks to Erinn(?) and they compare notes, and Candace says that it won’t be them, because they know what their worth. Candace tells us that if it’s not Sierra, there’s some mad shadiness going on.

:48 Tribal Council time!

Time for them to light their torches, Fire represents their life. Jeff goes to the beginning, and how they voted Sierra out and she says a part of her wanted to give up for a second, she was sick and thinks it was valid. Tyson says hat she looked miserable and struggling, so that’s why… Candace says there was a little resentment that Sierra didn’t ave to walk to camp, and she felt she wasn’t excited. But she thinks she is vibing with the group but she talks a lot, so maybe… it’s hard to tell. Coach says that t this point go with your intuition - no one’s gonna tell you if you’re clashing. How was exile? He says not luxurious, but it ws kinda fun. Everyone was curious and Coach says that he believes Brenden didn’t get the clue - Jerry says he’s surprised that Trust is a major issue already - if you win it over half the tribe, you stay for a while, but it’s hard to vote so early on. Erinne says that you can talk about knowing them - you ahve to be careful, because it’s been 6 days. Someone (?) disagrees, she’s built trust with several people.

Time to vote! Does anyone have the HII? No one steps up to play it.

The Votes: Candace, Sierra, Candace, Candace, Candace, Candace - that’s 5, that’s enough!

candaceout

Oooooh. She not happy - but SIerra is! As is Coach. Jeff says first TC, first blindside, and they grab their torches and head back to camp…

Next time on Survivor… Tribes are hit hard, and Taz makes a secret alliance…

  1. Jillian Says:

I love that Brenden is playing the game and said that Taz was the one who received the HII clue - not him! Brenden made a smart move, but let’s hope it doesn’t come back to bite him later on!

  2. Lessa Says:

I agree! That was some smart thinking on his part. I literally clapped once while I was typing as it amused me so. The kids were like “…what?” because I had headphones on. I wouldn’t tell them. I’m a mean mom. *L*

Posting the interview circuit here in a bit - I had a few internet problems yesterday. Heh. And also, no power for a while. That’ll put a damper on using the internets, it will!
