“You’re gonna want that tooth!”
-:05 It’s SURVIVOR night! Whoo! We’re locked and loaded and ready for the as it happens recap! Who do you think is gonna lose a tooth?! Is it bad that I’m hoping it’s Coach?
Stay tuned!
:00 Previously, on Survivor…. 12 are left - who will be voted out tonight?
:02 We rejoin Jalapao on Day 13, as Taj is getting her back scratched, and then she explains to us she put Joe’s name down because she wouldn’t put down Sandy’s. She’s feeling confident that her alliance is there, she just needs to find the idol. They head off to “fill water bottles” and she and Steve search for it around the Tree Mail - and they find it! She tells us all they have to do now is make it to the merge and everything is intact “I just love it when a perfect plan comes together - it’s so much fun!”
She lets Steve keep it, because they won’t suspect him, and he’s going to keep it safe. Stephen says because he has the pockets. He wants to try to keep it in his possession, because theoretically it is his -he’s wearing it around his neck.
:04 Commercial!
:08 Timbira - they’re figuring out chores, starting fires (Brenden) and washing pots and such. Sierra takes the time to talk to Brenden and says “Dude! You didn’t tell me!” And he laughs, and he tells her that he was going to tell her. He tells us it could have been a disaster, but he lets her know that he as the HII, and she tells us that after 3 days of being a loser when she got there, she’s proud and they’re gonna take over the whole world. Famous last words anyone?
:10 Reward challenge time! Hi Mr. Dimples! It’ll be played in rounds - they’ll sit on the spinny platform, then walk balance beam over the finish line. Today’s reward - Charmin cafe, coffee pastries and a working toilet with lots of Charmin.
And one person from the winning tribe will miss reward. ha!
Joe will be pulling Taz, Brenden pulling tyson.. Taj almost falls over, Tyson looks drunk. Tyson takes his time, Taj tries to go too fast - they’re neck and neck, Tyson barely beats her, and wins for Timbira! 1-0. Playing to Three.
Stephen pulls and spins Spenser, Coach pulls and spins Errin - They get up at the same time, Spense is ahead until spense falls off - then she does - and Spencer gets Jalapao gets a oint! 1-1!
Joe spins JT, Brenden spins Seirra - Seirra is FLYING! She takes a breath - and JT is trying to get rid of the dizziness, Probst says it’s like a bad friday night. Ha!Sierra has the early lead… she falls off and runs back, JT FLYS ACROSS AND Jalapao leads 2-1
Stephen spins Sydney, Coach spins Debra…. Both women stand at the same time, Sydney makes quick work at of the first half, but falls, Deb is ahead, Sydney races a second time and wins! JALAPAO WINS REWARD!
They send Brenden to exile, and he says it’s evil to pick someone to go with him - nd he picks Steven, and Taj says “I love you!” Tyson tells us privately that he doesn’t know what’s going on, but he seems to have their respect which could be dangerous. But the Charmin Cafe is waiting - time for Reward!
:17 …. and a commercial.

:20 It’s dinner time at the Charmin cafe, and Taj tells us she’s very excited, and will eat until she hurts. Coffee, juice, water - she says “I forgot my NAME i was so happy!” She tells her tribemates that she’ll take it over exile any day. She is glad to have some of this time o learn a bit about her tribe. Joe says he think it’s hurt her, being at exile so many times - and then they found letters from home! Awwww!!! Grab the tissues - charmin, of course. Spenser says JT found the letters from home and it was the best thing to have gotten, to remember there’s something outside the game. Everyone is a sobbing mess. Taj tells us that you forget sometimes, almost, and to get a letter, icing on the cake - she’d have been sick to have missed it in exile.
Timbira - They discuss that it was nice of Brendan not to take Taj again, and they wonder why he picked Steven. Coach says the way he’s choosing people, he’s making strong allies, if they merge, he as control and Coach is a bystander and he doens’t want that to happen.
The wind shifts - and Coach notices it, and that the storm winds come from theother direction. He thinks it’s gonna pass them…
…nope.
Erinn says that coach is a jackass, going on about the weather, and wants to be a SurvivorMan - she won’t be surprised if he says “gotcha, I’m n accountant, never left nebraska!” when it’s all over. haha!
On exile, Brenden and Steven chat at Brendan’s “vacation pad” Brendan is excited to have this chance to get comfortable with each other. Stephen and him share the immunity idols and how they have the control and they go searching for wood. Stephen says that he’s positive, but wary. Brenden is clearly strong, and it’s hard to trust someone he’s known for five minutes, but he won’t place his entire faith on this four person alliance. It’s his plan b.
:27 Commercial
:30 We’re back, at Jalapao, day 15. The talk is about dreams, and earthquakes - Sydney says she can’t life without her guy. She asks Spenser if any girls are turning his crank, and he says no. He tells us that he feels there’s not much to gain to people knowing he’s gay but he doesn’t like hiding it, it’s just not the best option for him in the game.
Tree Mail! Battling others, connecting, weak and show will lose another - and a net..
Spenser says that guys like JT, he just doesn’t know if it would make them want to get rid of him, his being gay. It’s disappointing, but it’s why he keeps it a secret
:33 IC Time! Today’s challenge - 2 members will alternate launching alls on the course, where he remaining tribe members will catch it - doesn’t matter which color caught, first to five wins immunity.
Sydney and Stephen, Debbie and Errin JT snags one for Jalapao with their first point! JT gets another great catch, and Joe doesn’t catch his in the net, it’s 2-0! Brendenc atches the next one, JT just misses, 2-1. Brenden snags another it’s 2-2 - Taj can’t guard him well. JT snags another one for Jalapao, and loses his tooth! He throws it, and Jeff says “Did ya throw it? your gonna want it!” H says it’s only half of it, they give it to Jeff. The girls are like “gross” But JT is all about the game. He still gets the point, of course - its 3-2 Jalapao
Balls in the air - Tyson barely misses it and JT makes ANOTHER flying catch for Jalapao! 4-2!
Next launch - Tyson snags one for Timbira… Tyson snags antoher one! some smack talk going on, Jalapao is frustrated - this point wins… TYSON SCORES FOR TIMBIRA! JT just BARELY misses it… Timbira wins ImmunitY!
Jeff says Amazing effort for JT - and “The only thing I have for you, is your tooth. Tribal Council tonight - someone going home.”
JT says he did all he could, broke off the back half of his tooth, and it seemed like some weren’t given their all.
:40 Commercial
:43 Jalapao, day 15, and Taj tells us she was hot - angry, frustrated. She felt like it was brutal. Joe and JT got beat up bad, and she was mad because she fell short, but SPenser’s play was worse then anyone elses. She tells everyone to leave emotion out of it, and she tells them she won’t talk bull, do what’s gonna be best for the team. JT says he trusts her more then others, as does Stephen, and Joe says hat he’s never come to her, she says she’s been trying - and he doesn’t know why she’s after him today. Moves like that will get her voted off. If Taj has the idol it’s the best decision. Stephen tells joe that she’s just scared, and Joe says “she’s next.”
Stephen says he has a tough choice - theoretically, he’d be better served with her going home without the idol, but she’s his connection with the others, so he’s not sure what he’s gonna do.

Taj is still pissed, and she’s confident though because she’s got the idol. Spenser says that he’s a competitive person, and feels that someone has it out for him. Meanwhile JT is talking that he wouldn’t have a problem writing his name down, he just wants to win, he hates losing. Spenser joins them, and tells us that it’s very tense around camp.
JT asks Spense who he thinks, and Spenser says that he knew he’d be pissed at him, and JT says that he said tackle him, and he didn’t. Spenser says that he feels it’d be better to be kept, he’s not the worst to keep around, but it’s up to the people voting. He asks who they think, and JT says e doesn’t know, maybe Taj. Spense just shrugs.
:48 Tribal council!
Jeff talks about the challenge, and asks Spenser what he thinks about his performance and SPense says pathetic, it was lacking. Taj says they feel the effect of losing, but they’re trying to believe they’ll tie it up the next challenge, she admits to blowing up - because it was missmatched and she got upset. Joe says you don’t feel good walking into a room and having fingers pointed, and Taj says anything can happen and outbursts can get you out, and she was pissed and she gives 110% and she had it in her head she was next nd anyone close was onna get it, it didn’t matter who. Spenser says that it changes when you get back to camp, he had the same feeling. He came back knwoing he could go home, he flet what Taj is talking about.
Taj - spent a lot of time on exile, can go both ways, why get rid of her, or why keep her - she says she didn’t ask to go, but she feels the target this week, there’s no more expendable people, and if they think she has an idol, she’ll be a threat. Joe says you can’t ever be certain - she’s never said he doesn’t have it, (Taj offers to say it now) and Joe says she doesn’t need to say it, she hasn’t slipped once, he believes her. Jeff points out that she hasn’t said she doesn’t have it - so Joe says “Say it for me” and Taj says “I do not have the immunity idol.” Joe believes her.
And with that - time to vote!
Taj votes Spenser, Spenser votes Taj - but what are the rest of the votes… time to tally up! No one plays the HII. The votes: Spencer, Taj, Spencer, Spencer, Spencer - that’s 4, that’s enough. He says goodluck and heads out. Jeff comments that they’ve lost 2 immunity challenges in a row, two tribe members in a row, and worse than that - they’ve lost momentum. head back to camp…
:57 Next time on Survivor….

Nope, it’s not bad that you were hoping that it would be Coach to lose a tooth. Not at all!! I about split a gut when he was looking all Steven Segall-ish, predicting the bad weather would miss them. Then.. cue downpour.
